Hi everyone,
I’m now back in the office after attending/speaking at BruCON 2011 in Belgium so I thought I’d write a quick blog post. I had a great time and I have to thank the people who made BruCON happen, it was one of the best conferences I’ve attended! I enjoyed doing a workshop about Agnitio which is different to the talks I normally give. The workshop was twice as long as the average talk so it was more relaxed and much more interactive, I hope I get to do similar workshops at other conferences in future!
I’ve uploaded my slides from my BruCON workshop to slide share, you can view them below:
I used a really early version of Agnitio v2.1 in the workshop which has the ability to decompile Android .apk files with one button click. I put a video on YouTube recently demonstrating this functionality:
I did give a copy of this version of Agnitio to a few people in the workshop to make some of the exercises easier which prompted a few people on Twitter asking for a copy as well. I’m sorry to disappoint those people but it’s not being released yet, in fact it’s not even near being finished development or testing so I won’t be releasing it for a few weeks yet.
SN
